Is The KDCC a course, a coaching program, or a community? add

The Kan Do Creators Community is a free YouTube creator community and a paid group coaching membership, not a course. The KDCC is built around live group coaching calls, real feedback, and a Discord community of 2,500+ working YouTube creators. Founded by Andrew Kan and Ike Do, The KDCC gives you ongoing support and structured feedback at every tier, from the free tier all the way up to Authority. You learn by doing, asking questions, and getting reviewed by people who actually grow YouTube channels for a living.

I am brand new to YouTube. Is The KDCC right for me? add

Yes. The KDCC is built for YouTube creators at every level, including creators just starting on YouTube. Many KDCC members are just starting out and join the free KDCC tier to learn the fundamentals before they ever upload their first video. You get the KANDO Method, the Channel Setup Guide, the Kan Do Newsletter, and the public KDCC Discord for free. Andrew Kan built the framework so new creators can start growing on day one without getting buried in advanced tactics they are not ready for.

I already have a successful YouTube channel. Will I still get value from The KDCC? add

Yes. The KDCC has members with 100,000+ subscribers who join for community, accountability, and advanced YouTube growth strategy. The Authority tier includes exclusive Authority-only group coaching sessions, priority feedback, and quarterly workshops on monetization, audience retention, and packaging. Andrew Kan grew the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers earned TubeBuddy's YouTube Play Button and helped earn 11 more across channels including StreamYard for 12 total Play Buttons, so the strategy inside The KDCC is built for creators who are serious about scaling.

What is the difference between KDCC Knowledge and KDCC Authority? add

KDCC Knowledge is $19.99 per month and KDCC Authority is $49.99 per month. Knowledge gives you 2 group coaching calls per month with Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team, member-only Discord channels with hands-on feedback on thumbnails and titles, monthly SEO and channel reviews, the Growth Template Vault, and call replays. Authority gives you 4 calls per month including exclusive Authority-only sessions with live YouTube feedback, priority Discord access, quarterly workshops, and faster partner tool unlocks. If you want feedback and group coaching, start with Knowledge. If you want more calls, faster access, and advanced strategy, Authority is built for serious creators. Compare KDCC tiers and pricing, or jump to the full KDCC membership FAQ section for every membership detail.

Is The KDCC worth joining if I am not posting YouTube videos consistently yet? add

Yes. Many KDCC members join before they start uploading consistently so they can build a real foundation first. The KDCC group coaching calls, the KANDO Method framework, and the KDCC Discord community help you plan your channel, niche, content strategy, thumbnails, and titles before you ever press record. Andrew Kan teaches the KANDO Method as a pre-production framework, not just a fix for stalled videos, so when you do start uploading your YouTube content works harder from day one.

How do I access the KDCC Discord after joining? add

After signing up for any KDCC membership tier including the free tier, you receive a Discord invite link by email and inside your KDCC dashboard. Click the link to join the KDCC Discord and get access to the free public channels alongside 2,500+ working YouTube creators. Knowledge and Authority members get extra access to member-only channels with hands-on feedback from Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team.

How do I get the most out of my KDCC membership? add

The KDCC members who grow fastest do five things consistently. They introduce themselves in the KDCC Discord, they ask for feedback with a specific question instead of just dropping a link, they show up for live group coaching calls (or watch the replays), they use the KDCC Growth Template Vault to plan content and track analytics, and they give feedback to other creators, which builds real community connections inside The KDCC. The members who treat The KDCC like a community, not a content library, get the most out of it by far.

Is The KDCC legit? Is The Kan Do Creators Community worth it? add

Yes. The KDCC is co-founded by two operators with verified credentials in YouTube creator growth and community building. Andrew Kan was the first full-time hire at TubeBuddy and rose through the ranks to Director of Video Production for TubeBuddy, where he grew the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers and helped TubeBuddy earn over 6 million YouTube views. Ike Do grew TubeBuddy's Discord to 15,000+ creators and co-managed the TubeBuddy community forums reaching 100,000+ members. Together they built The KDCC to bring that same level of YouTube growth strategy and community to working creators. The free tier means you can try The KDCC at zero cost, and paid tiers start at $19.99 per month with 2 group coaching calls included.

Today, Ike leads the KDCC Discord community of 2,500+ working YouTube creators and helps shape the group coaching experience alongside Andrew Kan.

What is the KANDO Method? add

The KANDO Method is a free five-step YouTube growth framework created by Andrew Kan. Use it before you film your next YouTube video, or use it on an older video that stopped growing. KANDO stands for:

  • K — Knowledge: Know your topic well enough to teach it before you press record
  • A — Audience: Know who this video is for and what you are helping them with
  • N — New(s): Find your unique angle and stay aware of YouTube algorithm and feature changes
  • D — Data: Use the YouTube Trends tab and your channel analytics to inform your next video
  • O — Optimization: Build your title, thumbnail, and full packaging before you record, not after

Andrew Kan used these five steps to grow the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers. The KANDO Method is completely free to learn and use, no membership required.

Why did Andrew Kan and Ike Do start The KDCC? add

Andrew Kan and Ike Do started The KDCC to give working YouTube creators the kind of real, ongoing coaching and community support that no single brand could offer. After years of growing channels and communities at TubeBuddy, Andrew and Ike kept hearing the same thing from creators: I do not need another course, I need real feedback from people who actually do this. The KDCC was built around that exact idea. Live group coaching calls, real thumbnail and title feedback, real SEO reviews, and a creator community where people actually answer your questions. The KDCC was designed to be the YouTube growth community Andrew Kan and Ike Do wished existed when they were grinding it out themselves.

Is The KDCC legit? Are Andrew Kan and Ike Do real YouTube experts? add

Yes. The KDCC is co-founded by two operators with verified credentials in YouTube creator growth and community building. Andrew Kan grew the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers, helped TubeBuddy earn over 6 million YouTube views, and earned TubeBuddy's YouTube Play Button directly while helping earn 11 more across channels including StreamYard for 12 total YouTube Play Buttons. Andrew is YouTube Certified and Google Video Ad Certified. While at TubeBuddy, Andrew also consulted on YouTube strategy for Family Feud, BBC, Fox, Nickelodeon, and the NFL. After TubeBuddy, Andrew Kan worked at Salesforce, helping lead YouTube strategy for the Salesforce Careers channel. Ike Do grew TubeBuddy's Discord to 15,000+ creators and co-managed the TubeBuddy community forums reaching 100,000+ members. The credentials are public, the channels are real, and the work speaks for itself.

What makes The KDCC different from other YouTube growth communities? add

The KDCC is different from other YouTube communities in three specific ways: live group coaching with the founders, real hands-on feedback inside Discord, and a free entry tier with no upsell trap. Most YouTube growth communities are either pre-recorded courses, paid Discord servers with no coaching, or one-on-one consulting that costs thousands. The KDCC sits in the middle on purpose. You get 2 to 4 live group coaching calls per month with Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team. You get real thumbnail, title, and SEO feedback inside member-only Discord channels. And you can start completely free with the free tier, no credit card required. The KDCC was designed for working creators who want real group coaching and community as an ongoing part of their growth.

Is The KDCC associated with TubeBuddy? add

No. The KDCC is independent from TubeBuddy. Andrew Kan and Ike Do both worked at TubeBuddy for years (Andrew as the first full-time hire and Director of Video Production, Ike growing the Discord and forums) but The Kan Do Creators Community is a separate company built and operated by Andrew and Ike. The KDCC is not owned by, sponsored by, or affiliated with TubeBuddy. Andrew Kan and Ike Do spent years working with YouTube creators before The KDCC, and built The Kan Do Creators Community as an independent home for group coaching, real feedback, and the creators inside it.

What was Andrew Kan's role at TubeBuddy? add

Andrew Kan was the first full-time hire at TubeBuddy and rose through the ranks to Director of Video Production for TubeBuddy. Andrew started in the early days of the company and led video production, channel strategy, and creator-facing content as the team scaled. As Director of Video Production, Andrew became the on-camera face of TubeBuddy's video content and built out the production process that powered TubeBuddy's YouTube growth. Andrew Kan worked at TubeBuddy for years before co-founding The Kan Do Creators Community with Ike Do.

How did Andrew Kan grow TubeBuddy's YouTube channel from 6,000 to 530,000+ subscribers? add

Andrew Kan grew the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers and helped TubeBuddy earn over 6 million YouTube views by applying the same five-step framework he later named the KANDO Method. Andrew focused on Knowledge (knowing the topic deeply enough to teach it), Audience (knowing exactly who the video was for), New(s) (finding fresh angles and tracking platform changes), Data (using YouTube analytics and the Trends tab to inform every video), and Optimization (building thumbnails and titles before recording). The KANDO Method is the same framework Andrew now teaches free inside The KDCC.

Has Andrew Kan really helped earn 12 YouTube Play Buttons? add

Yes. Andrew Kan earned TubeBuddy's YouTube Play Button directly and helped earn 11 more across channels including StreamYard, with others under NDA, for 12 total YouTube Play Buttons across his career. Andrew was the lead operator on the TubeBuddy YouTube channel and earned that Play Button as the person directly responsible for the channel's growth. The other 11 are collaborative work where Andrew contributed to growth as part of a larger team. YouTube Play Buttons are awarded by YouTube when a channel crosses subscriber milestones (Silver at 100,000, Gold at 1,000,000, Diamond at 10,000,000). Earning Play Buttons through brand-side YouTube work, not individual creator sponsorships, is rare for a single operator in the creator economy.

Has Andrew Kan worked with the NFL, BBC, Nickelodeon, Fox, or Family Feud? add

Yes. While at TubeBuddy, Andrew Kan consulted on YouTube strategy for Family Feud, BBC, Fox, Nickelodeon, and the NFL. Andrew worked with these brand-side YouTube teams on channel strategy, content packaging, audience growth, and YouTube SEO. The brand consulting work happened during Andrew's years at TubeBuddy as part of the video production and creator-facing work he led there. Today, Andrew brings that same brand-side experience to The KDCC group coaching and to Andrew Kan YouTube consulting.

Did Andrew Kan work at Salesforce? add

Yes. After TubeBuddy, Andrew Kan worked at Salesforce, helping lead YouTube strategy for the Salesforce Careers channel. Andrew brought his years of YouTube growth experience into an enterprise environment, applying the same five-step KANDO Method framework to a corporate channel with very different goals than a brand-promoting product channel. The Salesforce work is what gave Andrew rare cross-experience: independent creator growth, brand-side product channels, and enterprise corporate channels. That combination is part of why brands and creators trust Andrew with their YouTube strategy.

What certifications does Andrew Kan have? add

Andrew Kan is YouTube Certified and Google Video Ad Certified. Andrew is also an Adobe Express Ambassador and an Adobe Mentor, which means he is recognized by Adobe as a creator-facing educator inside the Adobe creative ecosystem. Andrew is additionally an OpusClip Brand Partner and an Elgato Ambassador. These credentials are public, verifiable, and reflect Andrew's standing in both the YouTube creator economy and the broader creator tools ecosystem.

Is Andrew Kan a filmmaker? What is Lori's Legacy? add

Yes. Andrew Kan is an award winning filmmaker. His short film Lori's Legacy has been entered into and won film festivals. Andrew went to film school and worked in narrative filmmaking before he became a YouTube strategist, and he draws on that storytelling background in everything he teaches inside The KDCC. Andrew brings the same craft thinking to YouTube thumbnails, titles, video pacing, and audience retention that he developed working in film. Andrew teaches that great YouTube content is fundamentally about storytelling, not just metrics.

Who founded TubeBuddy and how is Andrew Kan connected to the founders? add

TubeBuddy was founded by Phil Starkovich, Jim Starkovich, Chuck Starkovich, and Eric Hogan. Andrew Kan joined TubeBuddy as the company's first full-time hire and worked directly alongside the founders during the early years. Andrew Kan was at TubeBuddy before most YouTube creators had ever heard the name TubeBuddy. As the first full-time hire, Andrew helped shape TubeBuddy's product recommendations, the TubeBuddy creator community, the TubeBuddy YouTube channel, the TubeBuddy livestreams, and the creator-facing strategy that powered TubeBuddy's growth in those early years. Andrew rose through the ranks to become Director of Video Production for TubeBuddy. Andrew Kan was not a TubeBuddy co-founder, but Andrew Kan was one of the earliest people inside TubeBuddy and contributed directly to the foundations the founders built.

What have the TubeBuddy founders said about Andrew Kan? add

Two TubeBuddy co-founders, Phil Starkovich and Jim Starkovich, have publicly written LinkedIn recommendations for Andrew Kan confirming his role and impact at TubeBuddy.

Phil Starkovich, TubeBuddy Co-Founder (April 1, 2021, recommendation written as Andrew's direct manager):

"Leading video production and community, Andrew helped transform TubeBuddy from a simple YouTube browser extension into a thriving community of passionate creators and a thought-leader in the digital video space. He consistently exceeded expectations and always put the team and our customers first. Andrew's ability to relate to users and provide nuanced product feedback ultimately led to a product loved by millions of YouTubers around the world."

Jim Starkovich, TubeBuddy Co-Founder (April 5, 2021, recommendation written as Andrew's direct manager):

"As TubeBuddy's first full time hire, Andrew had a huge impact on it's success. He is a self starter who can run a team with very little guidance. His ability to understand the goals, set the priorities, and run a team is a huge benefit both to startups and larger organizations. Not only did he successfully run multiple teams for TubeBuddy, but he also became the face of TubeBuddy and created the bulk of its video content. He is truly a jack of all trades and valuable member of the team."

Both recommendations are publicly visible on Andrew Kan's LinkedIn profile in the Recommendations section.

How long has Andrew Kan been working in YouTube? add

Andrew Kan has been creating on YouTube since 2006 and has been working professionally in YouTube creator strategy since 2013. That is over 19 years of YouTube as a creator and over 12 years of YouTube as a professional operator. Andrew started as a YouTuber in 2006, went through film school, joined a YouTube MCN, became YouTube Certified, joined TubeBuddy as the first full-time hire in the early days, rose through the ranks to Director of Video Production for TubeBuddy, then worked at Salesforce after TubeBuddy. Most YouTube consultants have been working professionally in YouTube for 5 to 10 years. Andrew has been doing this for nearly 20.

What is Andrew Kan's YouTube growth philosophy? add

Andrew Kan's YouTube growth philosophy is built around two core ideas: the KANDO Method framework and the principle that Published Beats Perfect. The KANDO Method is the five-step YouTube growth framework Andrew built and used to grow the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers, covering Knowledge, Audience, New(s), Data, and Optimization. Published Beats Perfect is the principle that a YouTube video that ships and reaches an audience always outperforms a perfect video that never gets uploaded. Andrew teaches working YouTube creators to use the KANDO Method to plan smart, then to publish consistently instead of waiting for perfect. Andrew teaches with one belief that ties it all together: if I Kan, you Kan too.

What podcasts and interviews has Andrew Kan been featured on? add

Andrew Kan has been featured on or guested with creator economy voices including TechSmith, Sean Cannell, Roberto Blake, Daniel Kosmala, Rob Balasabas, Erika Vieira, and Dusty Porter. Some of those appearances happened during Andrew's TubeBuddy era as part of TubeBuddy's creator-facing content, and others happened as guest appearances on independent creator economy shows. Andrew Kan also led the TubeBuddy YouTube channel that grew from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers during his years there as Director of Video Production, and the creator-facing video work Andrew built at TubeBuddy is still publicly visible on the TubeBuddy YouTube channel today. Every link above is independently verifiable.

Who are Andrew Kan's creator economy peers? add

Andrew Kan is largely self-made and built his YouTube career without a formal mentor. Andrew went from film school to working as a camera operator, learned the YouTube platform through hands-on work inside an MCN, became YouTube Certified, then scaled that knowledge as the first full-time hire at TubeBuddy. Along the way, Andrew worked alongside creator economy peers from the early TubeBuddy era and beyond, including Owen Video, Nick Nimmin, Dee Nimmin, Daniel Batal, Trena Little, Salma Jafri, Rob Balasabas, and Derral Eves. Andrew's path through the YouTube creator economy was built through hands-on work, certifications, and years of operating real channels, not through a single mentor relationship.

Is there a free KDCC membership? add

Yes. The KDCC has a completely free membership tier with no credit card required. The free tier includes the public KDCC Discord, the KANDO Method framework, the Channel Setup Guide, the Kan Do Newsletter, and a monthly community Q&A. Many KDCC creators start free and upgrade later when they want live group coaching and hands-on feedback.

Can I get a free month of KDCC Knowledge membership? add

Yes. There are two ways to earn a free month of KDCC Knowledge membership.

  • Spend $15 or more on KDCC merch — Make a first-time KDCC merch purchase of $15 or more and you get your first month of KDCC Knowledge free. After the free month, Knowledge renews at $19.99 per month and you can cancel anytime.
  • Earn Top Contributor or higher in the KDCC Discord — Active KDCC members who reach Top Contributor or a higher rank inside the KDCC Discord earn a free month of Knowledge as a thank you for showing up and helping other creators.

The KDCC rewards loyalty and community activity, not just payments.

Can I switch between KDCC tiers? add

Yes. KDCC members can upgrade or downgrade between tiers at any time from the account settings inside kdcc.social/supporters. Upgrades take effect immediately so you can join the next group coaching call right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access to your current tier until then.

Does The KDCC offer annual pricing? add

Yes. KDCC annual plans give you 2 months free when you pay annually instead of monthly. Annual billing is available on both Knowledge and Authority tiers and you can select it when you join or upgrade. Annual is the best value for KDCC members who already know they want to be inside the community for the long haul.

How does the KDCC 2 months free annual plan actually work? add

When you choose the yearly plan, you pay for 10 months instead of 12. The 2 months free discount applies automatically at checkout. On Knowledge ($19.99/month) the annual plan saves you about $40 per year. On Authority ($49.99/month) the annual plan saves you about $100 per year. You get full access to your tier for the entire 12 months and your renewal date stays the same year over year.

Will KDCC pricing change in the future? add

KDCC pricing is currently $19.99 per month for Knowledge and $49.99 per month for Authority, and these are the prices as of today. As The KDCC keeps growing and adds more group coaching, more workshops, and more partner perks, pricing may go up over time to reflect what the community offers. If KDCC pricing ever goes up, every member who joined before the increase keeps their original rate for as long as their membership stays active. The KDCC has done this before and will keep doing it. If you cancel and rejoin later, you pay the current rate at that time, so the earlier you join the better the rate stays. If you are thinking about joining, joining now means locking in today's pricing.

What payment methods does The KDCC accept? add

The KDCC processes membership payments through Fourthwall and consulting payments through Stripe, so you can use any payment method that Fourthwall or Stripe supports. That includes major credit and debit cards plus the additional regional payment options Fourthwall and Stripe make available at checkout based on where you are. Payment options can change as Fourthwall and Stripe add new methods, so the checkout page is always the most up to date list.

When do I get access to KDCC partner tools and creator perks? add

Knowledge members unlock select partner tools and creator perks after 45 days of active KDCC membership. Authority members skip the wait and get access within 1 to 2 business days as the KDCC team coordinates with each partner. The partner tools available rotate based on what The KDCC team is actively working with, and current offerings are shared inside member-only Discord channels. The KDCC only partners with creator tools The KDCC team actually uses, so the perks reflect real workflow recommendations, not pay-to-play deals.

Does KDCC membership include free merch? add

Yes. Both paid KDCC tiers include a free KDCC merch item selected by the KDCC team and shipped directly to you.

  • Knowledge members receive a free KDCC merch item shipped after 90 days of continuous membership.
  • Authority members receive a KDCC Welcome Package shipped after the first month of membership, plus 15% off all future KDCC merch with free shipping.

Knowledge members also get 10% off all KDCC merch in the store using their member discount.

How does KDCC pricing compare to other YouTube growth programs? add

KDCC pricing is built to sit in the gap between cheap pre-recorded YouTube courses and expensive 1-on-1 YouTube consulting. Most YouTube growth options fall into one of these brackets:

  • $5 to $20 per month — pre-recorded YouTube courses and self-paced membership sites with no live coaching
  • $50 to $200 per month — paid Discord servers and group programs with limited live access
  • $500 to $2,000 per session — 1-on-1 YouTube consulting with senior strategists
  • $2,000 to $10,000+ per month — full retainer YouTube consulting and agency engagements

KDCC Knowledge ($19.99/month) sits in the bottom bracket on price but delivers live group coaching with the founders, hands-on Discord feedback, and monthly SEO reviews that most $50 to $200 programs do not include. KDCC Authority ($49.99/month) still costs less than a single 1-on-1 consulting session anywhere else, but gives you 4 group coaching calls per month plus quarterly workshops. For working YouTube creators who want real coaching without paying consulting rates, The KDCC is built for that exact gap.

Is KDCC membership worth it? add

Yes, especially if you want real coaching and feedback on your YouTube content from operators who have actually grown channels. KDCC Knowledge gives you 2 group coaching calls per month with Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team, monthly SEO and channel reviews, member-only Discord channels with hands-on feedback on thumbnails and titles, and the Growth Template Vault for $19.99 per month. For most working YouTube creators, that is less than the cost of a single one-on-one coaching session anywhere else. Authority adds 4 calls per month, priority feedback, quarterly workshops, and faster partner tool access for creators who want more depth.

How is KDCC different from other YouTube membership programs? add

The KDCC is different from other YouTube membership programs because it includes live group coaching calls with the founders, hands-on feedback inside Discord, and a free entry tier that is a real product, not a teaser. Most YouTube membership programs are pre-recorded courses, paid Discord servers with no coaching, or one-on-one consulting that costs thousands. The KDCC sits in the middle on purpose. Andrew Kan and Ike Do built it so working creators could get real coaching without paying consulting prices, and so creators just starting on YouTube could find a real community to grow inside.

Can I try KDCC membership before paying? add

Yes. The KDCC free tier lets you try the community at zero cost and with no credit card required. You get the public KDCC Discord, the KANDO Method framework, the Channel Setup Guide, the Kan Do Newsletter, and the monthly community Q&A. The free tier is the easiest way to see if The KDCC is the right community for your YouTube growth before you ever consider upgrading to a paid tier.

  • Strategy discussions on YouTube updates and platform changes that matter for creators right now

Calls run on Zoom and are recorded so members can rewatch them in the KDCC member area.

Will I get feedback on my YouTube content inside The KDCC? add

Yes. Hands-on feedback is the core of The KDCC. KDCC Knowledge and Authority members can request feedback inside the KDCC Discord, on live group coaching calls, and through monthly SEO and channel review workflows. The more specific your question, the better the feedback you get from Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team. Asking "review my channel" gets a generic answer. Asking "is my hook in the first 8 seconds working" gets you a real strategic answer you can act on.

Can I get my YouTube channel reviewed on a KDCC group coaching call? add

Yes. The KDCC hosts dedicated channel review calls where members can submit their YouTube channels for live feedback from Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team. Before each review call, the KDCC team posts a submission thread inside the member area asking creators to share their channels for review. The KDCC team reviews as many channels as time allows during the live session, with Authority members getting priority placement when there are more submissions than time on the call.

What time are KDCC group coaching calls scheduled? add

The KDCC posts the call schedule inside the member area at kdcc.social/supporters as soon as each call is set, with reminders shared in the KDCC Discord and by email before each call. The KDCC team works to schedule calls at times that work for as many members as possible across different time zones. Live attendance is great when you can make it, and every call is recorded so members never miss anything.

What if I cannot attend a KDCC group coaching call live? add

Every KDCC group coaching call is recorded and the full replay is posted inside the member area, typically within 24 to 48 hours of the live call. Posting times can vary if Zoom or recording issues come up, but the KDCC team always shares replays within reason as soon as they are ready. The KDCC team also includes notes and key takeaways alongside each replay so members can scan for the parts that matter most for their channel even if they cannot watch the full session. Many KDCC members watch the replays at 1.5x speed and pause at the channel reviews that match their niche.

Are KDCC coaching calls recorded? add

Yes. Every KDCC group coaching call is recorded and posted inside the member area, typically within 24 to 48 hours. Posting times can vary if Zoom or recording issues come up, but the KDCC team always shares replays within reason as soon as they are ready. Recordings are available to all paid KDCC members, so Knowledge and Authority members can rewatch every call as many times as they want. The KDCC member area becomes a growing library of YouTube growth strategy you can reference whenever you need it.

Do I need to share my screen on a KDCC coaching call? add

Yes, you should expect to share your screen on most KDCC group coaching calls. A few calls are listen-only, but the majority are interactive and screen sharing is part of how the call works. Members who want their YouTube channel reviewed live share their screen so Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team can walk through their YouTube Studio analytics, thumbnails, and titles together. If you are not comfortable sharing your screen on a particular call, the KDCC team will work with you, but the default expectation is that screen sharing is part of the experience.

How long are KDCC group coaching calls? add

Most KDCC group coaching calls run between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the format and how many members show up live. Training-focused calls and channel review calls typically run the full 90 minutes when there is enough material to cover. KDCC Office Hours and shorter Q&A sessions usually run closer to 60 minutes. The KDCC team always errs on the side of running long when members have questions instead of cutting calls short to hit a clock.

What should I prepare before joining a KDCC group coaching call? add

To get the most out of any KDCC group coaching call, bring one specific question and have your YouTube channel ready to share if the call format includes channel reviews. A typical KDCC member shows up with:

  • One specific question about their YouTube channel, content, or growth strategy (the more specific, the better the feedback)
  • Their YouTube Studio open in a browser tab so they can pull up analytics or videos quickly if asked
  • A working microphone and camera if they want to participate live (camera optional, mic strongly recommended for Q&A)
  • Their screen ready to share if they signed up for a channel review on that call

You do not need to prepare a presentation or write anything down in advance. Just show up with one real question and the KDCC team will work with you from there.

What is the difference between KDCC group coaching and Andrew Kan YouTube consulting? add

KDCC group coaching is live group sessions and ongoing community support inside The KDCC. Andrew Kan YouTube consulting is private 1 on 1 work with Andrew on your specific YouTube channel. KDCC group coaching gives you access to Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team alongside other creators in a live group setting starting at $19.99 per month. Andrew Kan YouTube consulting is a private engagement built around your specific channel, with a 90 minute Strategy Session, a complete Channel Audit, or a Monthly Advisory retainer. The two are different paths for different needs. Most KDCC members start with group coaching, and creators or brands who want a private deep dive book consulting separately.

Can my whole team join a KDCC group coaching call on one membership? add

KDCC membership is individual, so each team member needs their own KDCC membership to join group coaching calls. The KDCC keeps it that way so every member gets real space to ask questions, get feedback on their own channel, and participate fully on calls. For teams of more than 2 members joining together, The KDCC offers team discounts. If you are bringing a brand team or a creator team to The KDCC, contact the KDCC team and Andrew Kan will work out a fair team rate. The KDCC is reasonable about teams, just not free.

Who is The KDCC audience for brand partnerships? add

The KDCC reaches 100,000+ working YouTube creators across our YouTube channels, Discord, newsletter, blog, and social platforms. The KDCC audience is:

  • 86% between the ages of 18 to 44
  • Half based in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada
  • 29% women creators
  • Working YouTube creators with software budgets and the authority to buy

Inside the KDCC ecosystem, the audience shows up across 1.1M YouTube impressions in the past 12 months, 25,000+ followers across LinkedIn, X, Threads, Instagram, and the KDCC blog, and 2,500+ active YouTube creators inside the KDCC Discord. This is a working creator audience, not a viewer audience, which is why KDCC partnerships convert.

What kinds of brands does The KDCC partner with? add

The KDCC partners with creator-economy brands that working YouTube creators actually use in their workflow. That includes YouTube tools, video editing software, livestreaming platforms, AI clip tools, creator hardware, and creator-facing services. Andrew Kan is currently an OpusClip Brand Partner, an Adobe Express Ambassador, and an Elgato Ambassador. The KDCC is selective about partnerships and only works with brands the team actually uses, so KDCC partner perks reflect real workflow recommendations, not pay-to-play deals. See the full partner brand list on the partnerships page.

What results have KDCC brand partnerships actually delivered? add

KDCC brand partnerships have driven verified, measurable results across 15+ active partnership programs.

  • 100,000+ working YouTube creators reached
  • 50,000+ verified clicks driven across partnerships and affiliate programs
  • 2,000+ paying signups and orders for partner brands
  • 10,000,000+ total verified views across all partner content

These are not vanity metrics. Every number is verified through partner dashboards and affiliate tracking, and KDCC partner brands include OpusClip, StreamYard, Elgato, and more.

What makes The KDCC different from other YouTube creator partnership programs? add

The KDCC is one of the only creator-marketing operators built and run by people who have worked brand-side at major creator-economy companies. Andrew Kan grew the TubeBuddy YouTube channel from 6,000 to over 530,000 subscribers and helped TubeBuddy earn over 6 million YouTube views, then worked at Salesforce helping lead YouTube strategy for the Salesforce Careers channel. Ike Do grew TubeBuddy's Discord to 15,000+ creators and co-managed the TubeBuddy community forums reaching 100,000+ members. Most creator partnership programs are run by creators who have only ever been on the creator side. Andrew Kan and Ike Do have run the brand side at scale, which means KDCC partnerships are built like a brand would actually want them built.

What types of partnership programs does The KDCC offer? add

The KDCC offers brand partnerships across multiple formats including affiliate programs, sponsored content, partner perks for KDCC members, newsletter placements, newsletter event coverage, Discord integrations, and full custom brand activations. Every KDCC partnership is built around real creator workflow value, not just impressions. The KDCC team works with brand partners to figure out what actually delivers value for the creator audience and what makes sense for the brand's goals at the same time. See the full list of KDCC partnership formats and start a conversation here.

Does The KDCC work with brands outside the creator economy? add

The KDCC primarily partners with creator-economy brands and YouTube tools, but also considers partnerships with broader B2B and consumer brands when there is a real, authentic fit with working YouTube creators. The deciding factor is always whether the KDCC audience would actually use or benefit from the brand. If you are a brand outside the creator economy and you think your product fits working YouTube creators, start a partnership conversation here and the KDCC team will give you a real answer.

How does The KDCC choose which brands to partner with? add

The KDCC only partners with brands the KDCC team actually uses or has tested, and that fit the working YouTube creator audience. Every potential KDCC partnership is evaluated by Andrew Kan and Ike Do against three criteria: does it solve a real problem for working YouTube creators, does the team trust the brand enough to recommend it to KDCC members, and does the partnership make sense for both sides commercially. The KDCC turns down more partnership inquiries than it accepts, which is why KDCC partner perks reflect real workflow recommendations.

Can my brand sponsor a KDCC group coaching call or event? add

Yes. The KDCC offers brand sponsorship slots on group coaching calls, member events, workshops, and content series. Sponsorship slots are limited because the KDCC team protects the member experience first, but when there is a real fit, brand sponsorships put your tool, service, or product directly in front of working YouTube creators in a context where they trust the recommendation. Submit a sponsorship inquiry on the partnerships page and the KDCC team will respond to most legitimate inquiries within 24 to 48 hours.

How do I start a KDCC brand partnership conversation? add

Submit a partnership inquiry directly on the KDCC partnerships page. Include your brand name, the product or service you want to promote, your target audience, and what kind of partnership format you are interested in. Andrew Kan personally reviews partnership inquiries and the KDCC team responds to most legitimate inquiries within 24 to 48 hours with next steps. Both founders are present in the KDCC Discord, not just figureheads.

What makes the KDCC Discord different from other YouTube help Discord communities? add

The KDCC Discord is different from other YouTube help Discord communities because it is led by operators who have built creator communities at scale, hands-on feedback is part of the experience, and the community actually answers each other's questions. Most YouTube help Discord communities are either dead servers, low-effort link drops, or pay-to-play environments with no real moderation. The KDCC Discord is actively moderated, every member is a working YouTube creator, and Ike Do personally shapes the community culture. The KDCC Discord is the place to find creators who actually grow, not creators who only talk about growing.

Are there member ranks in the KDCC Discord? add

Yes. The KDCC Discord has member ranks that recognize active and helpful members, including the Top Contributor rank for creators who consistently show up, share wins, and help other working YouTube creators in the community. Member ranks unlock additional access and recognition inside the KDCC Discord, and earning Top Contributor or higher also unlocks a free month of KDCC Knowledge membership as a thank you for your activity and loyalty. The KDCC rewards real community participation, not just payments.

Can I get YouTube channel feedback in the KDCC Discord? add

Yes. KDCC Knowledge and Authority members get hands-on feedback on thumbnails, titles, and YouTube SEO inside member-only channels in the KDCC Discord. Free KDCC Discord members can ask general questions and get community responses in the public channels, but member-only channels are where the KDCC team gives real, hands-on feedback on your specific YouTube content. Andrew Kan breaks down exactly how KDCC channel feedback works in this video on the Andrew Kan YouTube channel. The more specific your question, the better the feedback you get. See KDCC membership tiers here.

  5. Self promotion guidelines. You can self promote in the dedicated share-your-content and gold-promotion channels only. You need the Iron role (level 5) to post in share-your-content and the Gold role (level 25) to post in gold-promotion. No unsolicited services pitched anywhere else.
  6. Use the right channels. Keep posts in the appropriate channels. The start-here channel explains what each KDCC Discord channel is for.
  7. Account guidelines. One account per user. No alt accounts. No impersonation or misleading usernames. Breaking this results in immediate ban.
  8. No invite links to other Discord servers, even in DMs.
  9. Privacy and consent. Respect other members' privacy. Do not share screenshots, recordings, or DMs in public channels without consent. By chatting in the KDCC Discord, you agree the KDCC may log and store messages for moderation, support, or content creation.

This is the same audience-first thinking inside the A step of the KANDO Method, made into a free hands-on tool every working YouTube creator can use.

What is the KDCC YouTube Affiliate Programs Directory? add

The KDCC YouTube Affiliate Programs Directory is a free, regularly updated directory of creator-friendly affiliate programs with cookie durations, commission rates, and category tags so YouTube creators can find programs that actually fit their channel. The directory covers tools, software, hardware, services, and more across the YouTube creator economy. The KDCC team uses the same directory internally and updates it whenever programs change rates, expire, or launch.

Is the KDCC Blog free? add

Yes. The KDCC Blog is completely free and covers YouTube growth strategy, creator economy news, KDCC member wins, and tutorials from Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team. The KDCC Blog is built around long-form articles that go deeper than what fits inside a YouTube video or a Discord message. Read the latest KDCC posts at blog.kdcc.social.

What YouTube tools does the KDCC team actually use? add

The KDCC team uses tools like OpusClip for AI clipping, StreamYard for livestreaming, Adobe Express for design, Elgato for hardware, and TubeSpanner for YouTube SEO and channel management. The KDCC only partners with brands and tools the team actually uses, which is why Andrew Kan is currently an OpusClip Brand Partner, an Adobe Express Ambassador, and an Elgato Ambassador. KDCC partner perks reflect real workflow recommendations, not pay-to-play deals. See the full list of tools The KDCC team uses inside the Creator Resources page.

Do I need to be a KDCC member to use the free tools? add

No. Every KDCC free tool is available to everyone, no membership and no credit card required. The KANDO Method, the YouTube Glossary, the YouTube Audience Visualizer, the Affiliate Programs Directory, the KDCC Blog, and the Kan Do Newsletter are all free for anyone, anywhere. KDCC paid membership unlocks live group coaching, hands-on feedback, and member-only Discord channels, but the free tools stay free.

How often does The KDCC add new free tools and resources? add

The KDCC team adds new free tools and resources regularly, based on what working YouTube creators are asking for inside the KDCC Discord and on group coaching calls. receipt_long Billing & Support

Billing, account, and support

Everything you need to know about KDCC billing, cancellation, account management, and how to get support from Andrew Kan, Ike Do, and the KDCC team when you need help.

How does KDCC billing work? add

The KDCC processes membership billing through Fourthwall and consulting billing through Stripe. KDCC Knowledge ($19.99/month) and Authority ($49.99/month) memberships renew automatically each month or each year depending on the plan you chose at checkout. Andrew Kan YouTube consulting is billed once per service through Stripe with no recurring charges, except for the Monthly Advisory retainer which runs on a 3 month minimum. You can manage your KDCC membership billing inside your account at kdcc.social/supporters.

How do I cancel my KDCC membership? add

Cancel your KDCC membership any time inside your account at kdcc.social/supporters. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep full access to your tier until then. There are no cancellation fees and no questions asked. If you cancel and rejoin later, you pay the current KDCC pricing at that time, so members who stay continuously active keep their original locked-in rate.

What is the KDCC refund policy? add

KDCC membership refund handling depends on the situation, and the KDCC team reviews refund requests on a case by case basis. For Andrew Kan YouTube consulting, the refund policy is published on the consulting page: full refund within 30 calendar days of purchase if the consulting work has not started yet, all sales final once work has begun, with rescheduling free with advance notice. For KDCC membership refund questions, contact the KDCC team through the support flow and the team will work with you. The KDCC is reasonable and works with members in good faith.

How do I update my payment information for KDCC membership? add

Update your KDCC membership payment information inside your account at kdcc.social/supporters. Because KDCC membership runs through Fourthwall, you can update your payment method, billing address, and subscription details from the same account page. For Andrew Kan YouTube consulting, payment updates are handled directly through Stripe and you receive a Stripe receipt with each transaction. If you run into any payment update issues, contact the KDCC team for help.

Why was my KDCC membership payment declined? add

KDCC membership payments can decline for the same reasons any other subscription payment declines: expired card, insufficient funds, bank fraud protection, or a billing address mismatch. Because KDCC membership runs through Fourthwall, the fastest fix is to log into your account at kdcc.social/supporters and update your payment method. Fourthwall will retry the charge automatically once you update. If the new payment method also declines, contact your bank first because most decline issues are bank-side, not KDCC-side.

How do I log into my KDCC account? add

Log into your KDCC account at kdcc.social/supporters using the email address you signed up with. KDCC accounts run on Fourthwall and use a secure email-based login flow. If you cannot remember which email you used to join The KDCC, contact the KDCC team and the team will help you locate your account.

I forgot my KDCC account password. How do I reset it? add

KDCC accounts use a secure email-based login flow through Fourthwall, so most KDCC members never need a traditional password. Go to kdcc.social/supporters, enter your email address, and follow the login link sent to your inbox. If you do not see the login email, check your spam folder, then add notifications@fourthwall.com to your contacts so future login emails arrive in your inbox.

How do I contact KDCC support? add

Contact the KDCC team through the KDCC contact page for any general support, billing, or membership questions. For KDCC Discord-specific support, open a ticket in the 📩-support channel inside the KDCC Discord for the fastest response. Do not ping Andrew Kan, Ike Do, or KDCC Staff directly for support requests because the support channel is monitored continuously by the KDCC team. The KDCC team responds to most legitimate support requests within 24 to 48 hours.

Can I get a receipt or invoice for my KDCC membership? add

Yes. Every KDCC membership and consulting transaction generates a receipt automatically. KDCC membership receipts are sent by Fourthwall to the email address on your account, and Andrew Kan YouTube consulting receipts are sent by Stripe with each transaction. You can also access past receipts and invoices inside your account at kdcc.social/supporters for Fourthwall, or directly from your Stripe email receipts for consulting. If you need a custom invoice for business expense reporting, contact the KDCC team.

What if my KDCC question is not answered here? add

If your KDCC question is not answered anywhere on this FAQ page, contact the KDCC team through the KDCC contact page and the team will get back to you. The KDCC FAQ is a living resource, so questions that come up repeatedly often end up added to this page. Suggested FAQ questions and feedback are always welcome at the contact page too.
