The KDCC Membership

YouTube group coaching that reviews your actual channel, not YouTube in general.

You submit your channel or a single video in the member area. Andrew Kan and Ike Do review it on the monthly coaching calls, every one recorded so missing a session costs you nothing, and answer your questions in the member-only Discord within 48 hours. Group coaching starts at $19.99 a month, with a 7-day free trial.

See Andrew Kan's fair but firm review style

Watch a full channel review. We don't hold back on the free ones.

Andrew Kan works through real channels on stream. The About section, the banner, the playlists, the thumbnails, the titles, and the transcript YouTube is reading to decide what your video is even about. Small things, quietly costing views and watch time, each with a fix attached. Nothing gets held back for paying members. What membership changes is that the channel on screen is yours, every month, and we go deeper because we already know it.

How fast your own channel moves is down to your channel and what you do with the feedback. We will not promise you a subscriber count, but we will always tell you what we would fix first.

"Andrew Kan spotted that my thumbnail text was unreadable. I had white text on a white background. Andrew Kan has reviewed my first 30 seconds and told me why the hook was a weak promise. Andrew Kan taught me to use pinned comments for my affiliate links. With each new idea I see the growth in video performance and overall channel income."

"Since joining KDCC 5 months ago, Kenneth Racing went from 60 to 340 subscribers and over 62,000 total views. A 24-hour livestream during the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps event reached 1.2K+ viewers, my most successful stream ever. KDCC taught me how important thumbnails, titles, and presentation really are."

"When I joined KDCC I was at around 10 subscribers. I'm now at 303 subscribers on my drawing channel with around 100,000 views, 12K of those from longform. I improved my thumbnail style and my CTR went from 2.3% to 6–10% on recent uploads. Some of that was my own research, but a lot of it came from the tips and thumbnail reviews I got from the KDCC."

Who runs your YouTube group coaching

We built the YouTube community we needed.

We started the Kan Do Creators Community because nobody was actually looking at your channel. Big brands had agencies and beginners had endless tutorials, but the creators in between could not find real YouTube growth help anywhere, so that is the room we set out to build.

We did not plan to launch a YouTube membership. Before this site existed we had a Discord and the Andrew Kan YouTube channel, nothing more, and people in the Discord kept asking for group coaching, so we tried it.

YouTube channel memberships came first in 2024, and in 2025 we moved everything onto the KDCC site and a private member area, where Knowledge and Authority now include live YouTube group coaching calls, monthly channel reviews, and guaranteed feedback on your thumbnails and titles. We are also the ones coaching. Andrew Kan leads every YouTube group coaching call, the video reviews, and the thumbnail feedback himself, while Ike Do runs the community and writes the newsletter, so you are not being handed to a coach we hired. When you submit a channel, one of us watches it.

That is also why we will not promise you a number. Nobody can honestly guarantee YouTube growth, and we have looked at enough channels to know it.

Before you join The KDCC

When we're the wrong fit

We'd rather you know now than cancel in a month. If any of these sound like you, keep your money. When what you need is more attention rather than less, 1:1 consulting with Andrew Kan is simply the better fit.

You want someone in your channel every week

Group calls are shared time. If you need dedicated attention, that's 1:1 consulting, not this.

You want a number promised to you

We won't promise you 10,000 subscribers. Nobody honestly can, and anyone who does is guessing.

You want your channel run for you

We find what's holding it back and tell you what to fix. You still make the video.

You want a course you finish once

This is ongoing coaching that changes as YouTube changes. A curriculum you finish once can't do that.

The KDCC membership FAQ

What creators ask before joining The KDCC.

Channel reviews, the free trial, pricing, coaching calls, the KANDO Method, and how cancellation works. Answered by Andrew Kan and Ike Do.

What is The KDCC membership?

The KDCC membership is monthly YouTube channel review and group coaching from Andrew Kan and Ike Do, both former TubeBuddy operators. You submit your channel or a single video and get it reviewed: the title, the thumbnail, the first 30 seconds, the description, and what your analytics are actually saying. You also get live group coaching calls, member-only Discord channels where every question is answered within 48 hours, a replay library of 40+ past sessions, and the KANDO Method growth framework. There are three tiers: Free, Knowledge at $199.10 a year or $19.99 a month, and Authority at $497.90 a year or $49.99 a month.

How do I know what's actually wrong with my channel?

Usually you can't see it yourself. You're too close to it. The problems Andrew Kan and Ike Do find most often are thumbnail text nobody can read, a hook that promises something the video never delivers, titles written for the algorithm instead of a person, and an About section describing a channel you stopped making two years ago. None of these show up in your analytics. All of them are obvious to someone else in five minutes.

What happens on the group coaching calls?

Andrew Kan and Ike Do run the calls, and they are about your channel rather than YouTube in general. Each one covers what YouTube is rewarding right now, recent algorithm shifts, and the growth levers working this week, then moves to your questions. Knowledge members get 24 calls a year, which is 2 a month. Authority members get 48 a year, including Authority-only sessions with live feedback on your content. Calls run on Fridays and every one is recorded for the replay library.

What if I can't make it to live coaching calls?

Missing one costs you nothing. Every session is recorded and added to the replay library on the KDCC site, which already holds 40+ past sessions you can work through at your own pace. Each replay includes actionable next steps. On the rare occasion a recording fails, we tell you in Discord and pick the topic back up on the next call. Paid members also get member-only Discord channels where Andrew Kan, Ike Do, or KDCC staff answer every question within 48 hours, so you can post your thumbnail or title question any time and get real feedback without waiting for a call.

How long before I see something change on my channel?

In week one you can work through the 40+ session replay library and post a thumbnail or title in the member-only Discord, where Andrew Kan and Ike Do answer every question within 48 hours. Inside your first month you will have submitted a video for review and joined a live coaching call, so you know specifically what to fix next rather than guessing. What happens after that depends on your channel and how much you apply. We do not promise subscriber numbers, and anyone who does is guessing.

Is The KDCC beginner-friendly?

Yes. Our members range from people who have not uploaded a single video to channels with millions of subscribers, and many join because they are stuck posting inconsistently. That is usually a strategy problem, not a motivation problem. The Free tier gets you the KANDO Method growth framework, the Channel Setup Guide, the weekly Kan Do Newsletter, the KDCC Blog, and a Discord with 2,500+ YouTube creators. When you want live coaching and a guaranteed review of your own videos, Knowledge and Authority are there.

What do I get on the Free tier?

Free is a tier and not a trial, so it never expires and we never ask for a card. You get the KANDO Method growth framework, the YouTube SEO Checklist, the Channel Setup Guide, the weekly Kan Do Newsletter, and the free KDCC Discord with 2,500+ YouTube creators. You can post your channel there and get feedback from the community, though it will not always come from the coaches. The guaranteed monthly review from Andrew Kan and Ike Do, along with a seat on the live coaching calls, both start at Knowledge.

Is YouTube coaching worth it?

It depends entirely on whether you act on it. Coaching cannot make a video for you, and anyone promising you a subscriber number is guessing. What it is genuinely good for is shortening the distance between "something isn't working" and "here is the specific thing to change." If you are posting regularly and not improving, that gap is what is costing you. If you are not posting at all, that is usually a strategy problem rather than a motivation one, and it is one we can help you work through.

How much does The KDCC membership cost?

Free is $0. Knowledge is $199.10 a year, which works out at $16.59 a month, or $19.99 if you pay monthly. Authority is $497.90 a year, which is $41.49 a month, or $49.99 monthly. Paying yearly gives you two months free, saving $40.78 on Knowledge and $101.98 on Authority, and your checkout may show this as 17% off, which is the same saving. We keep it affordable on purpose. The creators who most need someone to look at their channel are usually the ones earning the least from YouTube, so we share the cost of a review across the room instead of charging one person for the hour. Being early shouldn't price you out of getting help.

Does the 7-day free trial need a credit card?

Yes. Starting the trial on Knowledge or Authority takes a card, and cancelling before day 7 means you are never billed at all. Nothing is charged until day 7. If you stay past that and change your mind, you have 30 days from the first payment to get all of it back. The Free tier is different, because it is a tier rather than a trial, it never expires, and it never asks for a card.

Should I start with Knowledge or Authority?

Start with Knowledge if you are posting but still guessing what to fix. You get 24 group coaching calls a year, 12 channel reviews, member-only Discord answered within 48 hours, the 40+ session replay library, and the Growth Template Vault. Choose Authority if you want to take YouTube seriously and turn it from a hobby into full-time income. Authority is capped at 25 members so there is room for your channel on every call, Andrew Kan answers your Discord questions himself rather than the team, and you get 48 calls a year plus 4 live workshops on monetization, retention, and algorithm strategy. Both start with a 7-day free trial and you can move between tiers whenever your channel does.

What's the difference between KDCC membership and 1:1 YouTube consulting with Andrew Kan?

Membership is group coaching, from $199.10 a year, for creators who want ongoing community, monthly accountability, and live coaching alongside other YouTubers. 1:1 YouTube consulting is private strategy work with Andrew Kan, starting at $199.99 for a 90-minute Strategy Session, with Channel Audits at $999.99 and Monthly Advisory at $2,499.99 per month for brands, teams, and creators who need dedicated attention. If you want Andrew's personal answers without the 1:1 price, Authority is the middle ground: he answers Authority Discord questions himself, and the tier is capped at 25 members.

Can I cancel my KDCC membership? Do you offer refunds?

Yes. Knowledge and Authority are subscriptions you can cancel anytime in your account settings. There is no contract and no cancellation fee, and your access continues through the end of your current billing period. Cancel during the 7-day free trial and you are never billed at all. If you stay past the trial, you have 30 days from that first payment to request a full refund. Contact us within that window and we'll take care of it.
